![]() ![]() He and his wife shared many wonderful trips together during their golden years and enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Ed worked in the foundry industry until the early eighties when he became a journeyman carpenter and found a position with the city of Winnipeg where he worked until his retirement in 1989 at the age of 67. He and his wife immigrated to Canada in 1959, and became proud new Canadians in 1969. He learned his trade of pattern maker in Amsterdam where he met and married Louisa Boer in 1947. ![]() Ed was born on Decemin Amsterdam, Holland. He was predeceased by his parents Hendrik and Helena. He also leaves his brother Henry and numerous relatives in Canada and overseas. He is survived by his loving wife Louisa of 56 years daughter Helen son Harold (Linda) grandchildren, Pamela (Tom), Christopher, and Nina. EDUARD "EDDY" HAAK Peacefully, on June 20, at Bethania Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, Eduard "Eddy" Haak passed into the arms of our Lord. ![]()
